Such a somber place to visit, but it was somewhere I just had to go. It's just so hard to comprehend what occurred here and at other places during that period of infamy.

Paris - Eiffel Tower Machinery Room





These pics were taken when I did the "Behind the Scenes Tour" of the Eiffel Tower that included a visit to a former bunker hidden under the Champ de Mars, before heading down underneath the tower to the impressive engine room that still controls the elevators today.
